The Baldwin 243 studio is the single most popular piano model that Baldwin has ever produced. It has been a favorite piano model among home pianists, teachers, music departments of colleges, school systems, and houses of worship for many years. This Baldwin Model 243 features a 47″ height that allows for a larger soundboard and a longer string length equivalent to a 5'8″ grand piano. This instrument has a big sound and projection and it is a wonderful choice for any piano player. This Baldwin "Hamilton" instrument is known for its 19-ply pin-block that adds tuning stability, the "full-blow" action with larger parts adding to faster repetition, and a solid spruce soundboard for tonal richness and projection.
